Volunteer Profile
Janice Hunt
Janice Hunt, a honcho for the telephone company in her previous life, found us one day several years ago and never left! She has volunteered in probably every position at the clinic on Tuesdays except doing surgery. She was trained as one of the vet techs and is there every Tuesday even when she is not officially on duty.
Janice is such a caring, responsible, generous person with her time, her money and her heart. She takes her responsibilities very seriously and always has a minute to stop and scratch some ears and speak soothingly to the animals in her charge.
She and hubby George now live on a fabulous ranch north of Mabank with two beautiful cats, the irrepressible CiCi, many longhorns, donkeys, and chickens.
It was a great day for Friends of the Animals when Janice Hunt darkened our door.
